Map License Requirement

Your MMI system must be activated before it can install and use the new navigation database.

One of the following is required:

• A patched MMI system
• A valid lifetime map license
• The required map activation license, such as 023000EE

If your MMI system has not been patched, a separate MIB2 Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Lifetime Map License activation script may be required.

Important: The activation script is not included with this map product.

Ordering the prepared SD card does not remove the map license requirement. The SD card contains the navigation files, but your MMI must still have a valid activation or patch.

Installation

The map update is installed through the original Audi MMI software update menu.

Digital Download Installation

1. Download the P470_N60S5MIBH3_EU archive.
2. Extract the archive using 7-Zip.
3. Copy all extracted files to the root directory of a suitable SD card.
4. Insert the SD card into the vehicle’s SD card slot.
5. Open the MMI software update menu.
6. Select the SD card as the update source.
7. Start the navigation database update.
8. Wait until the installation has finished.

Prepared SD Card Installation

1. Insert the supplied SD card into the vehicle.
2. Open the MMI software update menu.
3. Select the SD card.
4. Start the navigation database update.
5. Wait until the installation has finished.

Do not switch off the ignition or remove the SD card while the update is running.
