Because Samsung does not permit the feature at this time, Samsung S8 or later running Android 9.0 Pie DO NOT SUPPORT WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO YET (INCLUDING BRAND NEW S10). Samsung ONLY SUPPORTS WIRED ANDROID AUTO AT THIS TIME. THE INTERFACE SUPPORTS WIRED AS WELL AS WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO.

All other mobile Android phones, including LG, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc. DO YOU SUPPORT OR WILL YOU SUPPORT WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO? ASK YOUR PHONE MANUFACTURER.

Only mobile phones that support “Android Auto Wireless” will function wirelessly with this device; otherwise, it must be wired by USB. THIS DEVICE USES GOOGLE’S STANDARD WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO PROFILE.

ALL iPhones that have CarPlay WILL WORK WITH BOTH WIRED AND WIRELESS TECHNOLOGIES.

 

This radio product is a class B radio product, which means it must tolerate any radio interference and avoid interfering with other classes of radio emitting devices like doppler radar. THEREFORE, WIRELESS FUNCTION COULD BE UNSTABLE WHENEVER THERE IS A STRONG SOURCE OF RADIO INTERFERENCE NEAR 5GHZ. The unit is predicted to crash close to weather and/or navigational radars close to airports. THEN YOU MUST USE WIRED METHODS IF THIS IS A PROBLEM.
