AMI (or AUX) in the glovebox is a need for sound to come from the box; otherwise, an AUX cable must be connected to the AMI.

1. Can CarPlay be used wirelessly?

After first setup, it does connect automatically. For CarPlay, you don’t need to plug in your iPhone.

2. My vehicle has AMI (Audi Music Interface). Does this fit my vehicle?

Yes, all Audi models with the MMI 2G system would fit. To hear sound in the automobile, you need aux input or an AMI (Audi music interface).

3. Will I need to make wiring adjustments or replace my old car screen??

With the exception of one wire that needs to be manually connected, this kit lets you keep the factory-installed display screen in your car. Everything else in the kit is plug-and-play. No need to cut or solder; a tool will be given.

4. Will my car audio play music??
Yes, this device enables music playback and all other audio output through the car speakers; to use it, simply set the Audi radio to “AUX” mode.

5. Does it function with left-hand drive cars??
Yes, our kit works with models from all over the world. Please be aware that CarPlay only works with Apple iPhones.
